Psychological Operations Planner, Senior

In this senior PSYOP role, you will design and synchronize psychological operations to support operational and strategic goals within a multinational and interagency context. You’ll integrate PSYOP with information, cyber, and other domains, guiding messaging and influence campaigns. You work with cross-functional partners to ensure culturally appropriate, legally compliant, and impactful outcomes. • Plan and integrate PSYOP activities aligned with campaign goals and commander intent
• Develop PSYOP concepts and messaging using research and audience analysis
• Coordinate PSYOP planning with interagency partners, allies, host-nation stakeholders, academia, media, and vendors
• Integrate PSYOP with OIE, cyber, information, and non-kinetic effects across domains
• Support media campaign planning and execution to align messaging with strategic comms
• Leverage analytic platforms (e.g., Maven Smart System, C2IE) for planning, targeting, and assessment
• Define influence indicators, evaluate audience response, and refine PSYOP plans
• Advise senior leaders on PSYOP risks, opportunities, and effects, ensuring compliance and sound operations
• Conduct executive briefings to GO/FO/SES for concept, plan, operations, and policy approvals
• Apply PSYOP doctrine and execution expertise to ensure target alignment

• US Army PSYOP Qualification Course graduate
• 10 years’ experience in planning, coordinating, synchronizing, or executing PSYOP
• 7 years in military planning processes (JPP, JOP, joint targeting, or campaign planning)
• Active TS clearance and SCI eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Proven ability briefing PSYOP concepts to executive/senior leaders
• Proficient in standard military software applications and communication systems
