Welcome to join our eastern/northern student welfare team in Kittilä! Student welfare psychologists work as part of multidisciplinary student welfare teams within their own educational institutions. Your role involves providing psychological expertise to early childhood education and schools, promoting the well‑being and safety of students and the school community, and fostering a positive learning environment. The scope extends from preschool and basic education to secondary schools. In Lapland, the goal of a student welfare psychologist's work is not only to cope under pressure but also to develop credible methods to promote learning and well‑being and to prevent problems, as well as to implement these effectively in daily practice.
Employment terms are governed by the SOTE agreement.
The position includes a 6‑month probation period.
We follow the vaccination requirements mandated by the law and workplace safety regulations.
The selected candidate must present a child criminal record check (Child Criminal Record Check, 504/2002) before starting.
