QA Team Lead

ProPursuit is currently looking for an experienced QA Team Lead for a world leading e-commerce client of ours based in Berlin.

Your mission:

• The QA Team Lead prioritizes and organizes together with his team their work. The main task is to keep the team productive and healthy. The QA lead is just as responsible for a successful product launch as developers involved in that project. Additionally, the team lead cares about personal growth.

Your responsibilities:

• Leads a QA and/or project grooming
• Takes part in Dev team grooming
• Leads QA team meetings and planning
• Mentors the team and motivate its members.
• Prioritizes work of team on demands of the business
• Hold regular 1:1’s with all members of your team
• Identifies new risks as testing phases are completed and create new mitigation plans on the fly.
• Improves the company’s current development processes to make them more efficient.
• Injects the Software QA culture into the company
• Develop, enact, and manage testing schedules, ensuring that the QA team meets expectations and deadlines.
• In some cases, may resolve some of these issues on their own and conduct further testing to ensure stability and usability
• Monitor team activities to ensure that they meet schedules, specifically when multiple projects are in process at once.
• Coordinate bug fixes and software enhancements with development and engineering teams.
• Doing code reviews
• Coaching of developers on Testing and Automation
• Cares about personal growth of his/her team members

Your skills:

• Masters a programming language (JavaScript, Python, …)
• Masters an Automation Framework (Puppeteer, Selenium, WebdriverIO, …)
• 2+ years in people management
• 4+ years of experience in Automation
• 4+ years of experience in Software testing
• Team player, good communication skills, proactive, self-organized
• Uses problem-solving skills to find bugs and help fixing for them
• Automation affine (Frameworks, strategy, …)
• Agile mindset, automation skills for CI/CD, scripting, basic software architecture
• Organize all aspects of the quality assurance process
• Attention to detail, find ways to improve development process and isolate problems
