Responsibilities

Qualified persons for warehouse logistics work in logistics planning and organization. Their tasks include receiving goods, picking, loading, storage, transportation, packaging and inventory control. They also handle IT systems, labour safety and environmental protection.

Prerequisites for the training

• Qualified secondary school leaving certificate, intermediate school leaving certificate or Abitur
• Spatial imagination
• Organisational skills
• Good grades in mathematics, German and English

Training content

• Distinguish and handle goods according to their nature and use
• Goods receipt, inspection and storage
• Arrange for defects to be rectified
• Check stock levels
