Job Description

Our plant in Neckarbischofsheim currently develops and manufactures precision quartz crystals and quartz oscillators with around 125 employees. These products are used in telecommunications, test and measurement technology, medical technology, and radar systems.

As a Quality Technician, you will report to the Quality Manager and become part of the team. You will be responsible for supporting and further developing the quality management system, driving continuous process improvement, and performing product inspections.

In this role, you will work in a global team, collaborating with other business units and our customers, which will enable you to grow within the company and enhance your skills.

Further details on the expectations and responsibilities of this position

  • Support and maintenance/administration of quality management systems and related documentation.
  • Participation in internal audits of the quality management system in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Responsibility for quality-related production processes.
  • Interface to other functions within the organization.
  • Support and execution of technical product failure analysis and preparation of customer FA reports.
  • Participation in and maintenance of action plans, as well as management and development of related quality tools (CAQ).
  • Preparation and maintenance of process-related documentation.
  • Participation in the preparation and execution of inspection planning.
  • Evaluation and analysis of quality-related production data to drive continuous process improvement.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical degree or technician training.
  • Knowledge and experience in quality management systems based on various standards such as ISO 9001 are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of quality and statistical tools (SPC).
  • Strong skills in Excel and MS Office; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Preferably trained in quality system methods such as APQP, FMEA, 8D Method, Internal Auditing, Problem Solving, and MSA.

Competencies

  • Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Basic understanding of quality philosophies, principles, methods, tools, standards, organizational and team dynamics, interpersonal relationships, professional ethics, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
  • High assertiveness, willingness to learn, strong facilitation skills, ability to work effectively in global teams, and strong communication skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Well-organized, open-minded, and structured in approach.
  • Basic statistical knowledge (risk assessment, data analysis).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and influencing skills.
