Quality Assurance Specialist for US Space Projects (m/f/d)

In this role you ensure quality across space projects from development to serial production. You will conduct product acceptance tests, audits, and prepare acceptance documentation while handling QA tasks and deviations. You chair deviation committees, assess damages, and drive corrective actions to sustain product quality. You will monitor processes and review First Article Inspections, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support European and international launch programs.

• Provide QA support across development and production phases for space programs
• Conduct product acceptance tests and client audits with documentation of results
• Process QA tasks including approvals and non-conformance reports
• Chair manufacturing deviation committees and lead deviation assessments
• Initiate and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Monitor internal and external processes to ensure quality
• Prepare and review First Article Inspections (FAI)

• Several years of professional QA experience
• Experience in mechanical engineering is desirable
• Knowledge of APQP tools
• Proficiency with 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagrams
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and EN 9100
• Facilitation and teamwork skills
• Independent, structured, goal-oriented work style
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
• English skills, minimum B1
