We've developed a fundamentally new way of solving industry-relevant problems on quantum computers. We create blueprints for quantum computers and the associated operating system - ParityOS.

About the job

As a Quantum Algorithm Developer for Hamiltonian simulations, you will explore classically intractable dynamical processes in physical systems. Quantum computers open a path to address these challenges, and you will design novel Hamiltonian-simulation algorithms across all layers of the quantum computing stack. By leveraging and advancing the ParityQC Architecture, you will help move quantum computing toward practical, near-term and early fault-tolerant applications.

You will join a collaborative research team where strong physics expertise matters more than prior quantum-computing experience. If you bring deep physical intuition and curiosity, we will give you the space and support to grow into the quantum-algorithm domain.

Skills & Experience

  • PhD in quantum physics or theoretical physics
  • Strong background in one or more of the following:
  • Quantum statistical mechanics
  • Quantum field theory or lattice models
  • Ability to translate physical models into Hamiltonian formulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of creativity and scientific curiosity
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Fluency in English

Preferred Experience

  • Proven experience in modelling quantum systems or quantum information processes
  • Familiarity with quantum-simulation frameworks (e.g., QuTiP, Qiskit, PennyLane)
  • Exposure to quantum algorithms or quantum-computing concepts (e.g., Trotterisation, variational methods)
  • Experience implementing and validating numerical simulations of quantum dynamics
