The Chair of Experimental Solid State Physics, led by Prof. Dr. Dmitri K. Efetov @ LMU Munich is setting a rapid pace in the advancement of 2D quantum materials such as moiré graphene and their applications.
As part of our Leibniz Prize project, we are offering several Postdoctoral Researcher positions focused on engineering exotic quantum phenomena in cutting-edge 2D material platforms and their heterostructures.
A key component of the project includes the exploration of next-generation materials using state-of-the-art characterization tools such as the quantum twisting microscope, enabling unprecedented control and visualization of quantum effects at the nanoscale.
By probing and manipulating the quantum regime with these innovative techniques, our research aims to uncover new physical principles and to chart new pathways toward transformative functionalities in emerging quantum technologies, particularly in quantum sensing.
