Ranges and Training Area Capability Coordinator

As a Theater Ranges and Training Area Capability Coordinator, you will coordinate cross‑functionally across headquarters and components to identify required capabilities, assess current capabilities, track planned upgrades, grow training resources across EUCOM, and communicate capability gaps to EUCOM leadership. You will work with stakeholders in the Operational Training Infrastructure community, review the state of ranges and training areas within the AOR, derive requirements through working groups you lead, review policy, standards, and governance, and facilitate USEUCOM’s integration within the LVC environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross‑functional requirements identification and capability assessment.
• Track planned upgrades and growth of training resources across EUCOM.
• Communicate capability gaps to EUCOM leadership.
• Lead working groups to derive operational training requirements.
• Review policy, standards, and governance related to ranges and training areas.
• Facilitate integration of USEUCOM within the LVC environment.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) simulation training environments and standards.
• Experience with program management.
• Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to various audiences.
• Must be self‑motivated, adaptive, and willing to learn, teach, lead, and follow.
• Ability to develop long‑term strategic plan initiatives that align with organizational goals.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and risk while coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Associate’s degree and 8+ years of experience planning military exercises or Live‑Virtual training eventsORBachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 3+ years of experience planning military exercises or Live‑Virtual training events.

Nice to Have:

• Program management experience in the defense, national security, or aerospace domains.
• Experience with training development for Live, Virtual, Constructive and Gaming (LVC‑G) training methods.
• Experience working in a Joint environment.
• Experience with C‑UAS, UASs, or Electromagnetic Warfare.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
