As R&D AI Product Owner, you will shape an AI-native platform that accelerates discovery, design, and delivery of breakthrough materials. You’ll own the AI product vision and roadmap, embedding intelligence into R&D workflows alongside chemists, data scientists, and engineers. Verantwortungsbereiche

Define and communicate the Digital R&D AI strategy and maintain buy-in
Own the product roadmap and prioritization framework
Balance near-term AI feature delivery with long-term AI-native capabilities
Lead structured discovery with scientists and end users; prototype and test
Coordinate with IT, security, and external vendors on product needs
Translate problems into requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and releases
Support agile delivery through backlog refinement and sprint planning
Track product metrics, adoption, and business outcomes
Manage budget priorities and resource allocation
Vendor selection for non-technical product services

Zentrale Anforderungen

5+ years of product management or related roles
Ability to translate complex scientific problems into product requirements and delivery priorities
Strong product discovery skills (research, prototyping, validation, prioritization, impact measurement)
Practical understanding of AI, ML, generative AI, RAG, AI agents, data products
Experience working with data scientists, software engineers, UX designers, and platform teams
Strong stakeholder management across expert users, technical teams, and leadership
