R&D Hardware Project Manager (m/f/d)

In this role, you drive hardware projects for power systems and cooling within Advantest's V93000 platform. You will design, develop, and qualify new system elements and work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. The position focuses on delivering robust power and thermal solutions at our Böblingen site, enabling advanced semiconductor testing. You play a pivotal role in coordinating efforts across disciplines to meet performance and reliability goals.

• Design, develop, and characterize new system elements for power and cooling
• Plan and execute qualification tests and analyze results
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams across hierarchy levels
• Coordinate activities in an agile, flat-hierarchy environment
• Manage priorities and self-organize to meet project milestones
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product readiness

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
• Experience in multi-KW power supply HW and thermal management of high-power electronic equipment
• Strong team working, problem-solving, and superior communication skills
• Strong coordination skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Strong self-management and priority-setting
• Fluent in German and English
