R&D Program Manager Medical Devices (m/f/d)

In this role, you drive medical device development programs in close collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams. You ensure projects stay on track regarding progress, deadlines, and costs, while providing regular performance updates. You’ll supervise staff, mobilize experts, and tailor training to needs. You’ll also manage contract-related commercial activities such as PO administration and financial forecasting. Your work supports Heraeus Medevio’s mission to bring lifesaving devices to market and improve lives.

• Manage and monitor medical device development projects with customers and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure project progress, deadlines, and product costs are met
• Provide progress and performance reporting
• Supervise project staff and mobilize cross-functional resources
• Identify training needs and implement training for assigned staff
• Handle commercial activities with contract customers, including PO administration and financial forecasting

• University degree in engineering or related field with formal project management training
• 3–5 years of project management experience (medical device or regulated industry preferred)
• Strong customer communication skills
• Fluent English
