R&D Support Engineer (f/m/div)

In this R&D role, you will support radiation testing activities to qualify space components and improve test approaches. You will work within the R&D team to drive reliable test methods, collaborate with cross-functional groups, and contribute to ESA-funded and product-oriented space initiatives. The position blends hands-on testing with data analysis and documentation to support high-reliability space applications. You’ll travel to radiation facilities in Europe and occasionally the USA, shaping how we test and validate cutting-edge components.

• Plan, prepare, execute, and assess radiation tests for space component development and qualification
• Improve test methods by optimizing software routines and/or redesigning hardware
• Travel to radiation facilities in Europe and occasionally the USA
• Create and maintain technical documentation and customer reports for the High Reliability market
• Manage low-complexity product projects for new space applications
• Serve as the main interface on respective projects
• Support ESA Funding Project as testing engineer

• M.Sc. in Physics or Electrical Engineering
• 1 year of experience as an R&D Support Engineer or similar
• Knowledge in Data Analysis and Testing
• Initial knowledge in Analog/Digital IC
• Project management and Python knowledge is an advantage
• Fluency in German and English; French is a plus
• Team player with good communication skills
• Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
• Ability to drive several complex topics in parallel
