Role Description

The Real Estate Consultant role at Indian Housing Germany is a full-time, on-site position based in Berlin, Germany. In this role, the consultant will assist clients in identifying suitable housing options, including private rooms, shared flats, and apartments, and guide them through the end-to-end rental process. Day-to-day activities include conducting property viewings, coordinating with landlords, preparing and reviewing rental documentation, and ensuring that all properties meet safety and verification standards. The consultant will maintain up-to-date knowledge of local real estate markets, respond to client inquiries, and provide clear, empathetic communication to individuals relocating from India. The role also involves collaborating with the wider team on client training sessions, basic relocation guidance, and community-building initiatives to support a smooth transition to life in Germany.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Real Estate and Real Property knowledge, particularly in residential rentals in Germany.
• Candidates should possess Sales and Negotiation skills to effectively present housing options and secure fair agreements for clients.
• Candidates should possess Training and client guidance skills to support individuals with relocation processes and housing-related education.
• Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; German language skills are highly beneficial.
• Candidates should demonstrate cultural sensitivity, customer service orientation, and the ability to work with diverse communities.
• Candidates should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client cases simultaneously.
• Previous experience in real estate, relocation services, or consulting is an advantage; familiarity with the Indian diaspora and German rental regulations is a plus.
• Relevant educational background in business, real estate, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if supported by practical experience.
