Real Estate Finance – Assistant Vice President

I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Vice President – Real Estate Finance to join an established EMEA Structured Real Estate Finance team based in Frankfurt.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate Finance professional to gain exposure to the full lifecycle of complex, non-recourse real estate financing transactions across the UK and continental Europe.

You will work across both new transactions and an existing European loan portfolios, with responsibilities including:

• Financial, credit and real estate analysis of new financing opportunities
• Cash flow modelling, property analysis and preparation of credit applications
• Supporting the structuring and execution of real estate finance transactions
• Coordinating due diligence, valuations, legal documentation and transaction closings
• Monitoring existing loan exposures, including annual reviews, covenants, amendments and waivers
• Reviewing financial performance, business plans and valuation reports to identify emerging credit risks
• Preparing transaction and portfolio recommendations for Credit and senior management
• Supporting client meetings, property visits and new business activities

Key Requirements :

• 3- 6 years' experience in Real Estate Finance, Structured Finance, Corporate Banking, Credit Analysis or a related lending environment
• Strong credit and financial analysis skills, including cash flow modelling
• Understanding of real estate valuations and property-backed lending
• Exposure to the transaction lifecycle from initial assessment through to closing and portfolio monitoring
• Commercial, analytical and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders
• Experience with income-producing real estate, development finance, loan-on-loan facilities or other non-recourse structures would be particularly relevant.
• Fluency in German and strong communication skills in English
