Regional Category Manager - Castings and Forgings(m/f/d)

In this role you drive regional category management for Castings & Forgings, delivering market intelligence driven strategies and ensuring availability of goods and services. You align regional targets with global category goals and collaborate with local teams, plants, and markets to realize targets. You lead regional sourcing, tenders, supplier development, and contract management while maintaining compliance and driving value throughout contracts. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to harmonize standards and foster innovation in the EURAF region.

• Lead regional sourcing strategies for EURAF spend categories and monitor price, supplier, and market trends
• Execute regional tenders (RFx) and negotiate contracts aligned with sourcing strategy
• Manage regional supplier relationships and supplier development to drive innovation
• Consolidate regional requirements to inform global category strategies and ensure alignment with top-down targets
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, category teams, regional suppliers, and external partners
• Support global category management with regional market analysis, foresight, and data
• Ensure global standards, processes, and templates are applied regionally and promote transparency across parts and tooling
• Lead regional projects that secure goods/services with value-for-money and compliance with procurement policies
• Collaborate with GCM and LCM to implement regional targets and KPIs and communicate them regionally
• Ensure local contract annexes cover regional and local requirements

• Completed degree in a business or technical field (e.g. Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, etc.) or a comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in strategic procurement with focus on castings & forgings
• Proven track record in conducting global tenders and negotiations in an international environment
• Experience in stakeholder management and working with international teams
• Strong communicator with excellent networking skills
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Strong negotiation skills and analytical thinking, problem solving capability
