Regional Customs Compliance Lead, EMEA

As the regional customs compliance expert, you will partner with business stakeholders and global teams to ensure compliant cross-border operations and implement new customs requirements. You will monitor regulatory developments, translate changes into actionable plans, and lead governance to reduce risk. You’ll work across functions to optimize processes and support audits, contributing to a resilient regulatory posture in a complex environment. • Oversee regional customs compliance activities and ensure adherence to import/export regulations
• Manage governance frameworks, procedures and controls for customs, including classification, origin, valuation and declarations
• Support internal and external customs audits and corrective action programs
• Monitor regional regulatory developments and translate them into business requirements and implementation plans
• Lead operational support including escalations, interactions with authorities/brokers, and compliant documentation processes
• Define and monitor customs KPIs; analyze trends and risks; drive process improvements and automation
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Tax and Global Customs teams; deliver training and act as advisor on compliance matters

• Several years of experience in Customs Compliance, Trade Compliance, Customs Operations or related area
• Experience in international business environments with customs regulations
• Experience supporting audits, compliance programs and process improvements
• Knowledge of import/export compliance, valuation, rules of origin, classification, declarations and procedures
• Desirable familiarity with CBAM, EUDR and other trade-related regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams
