As Regional Manager, Central EMEA, you will shape the future of Arc’teryx retail across one of our most important regions. Leading a team of exceptional Store Managers, you will create an environment where people thrive, communities grow, and guests experience the very best of our brand.


You will own regional performance across our Brand Stores and Factory Outlets, balancing commercial excellence with an uncompromising commitment to guest experience. Through strong leadership, strategic thinking and meaningful partnerships, you will inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals while protecting the integrity of the Arc’teryx brand.


Beyond delivering results, you will build capability, develop future leaders and strengthen our connection with local outdoor communities, ensuring every store reflects who we are and what we stand for.

Responsibilities



  • Leading and developing Store Managers, building high‑performing teams through coaching, succession planning and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Driving regional performance, using commercial insight to identify opportunities, remove barriers and deliver against sales, profitability and productivity targets.

  • Championing the guest experience, ensuring every store consistently delivers an experience that reflects the Arc’teryx brand and inspires long‑term guest loyalty.

  • Brought the brand to life, partnering with Visual Merchandising, Marketing and Community teams to execute launches, events and activations that deepen local brand connection.

  • Collaborating across the business, working closely with Merchandising, Planning, Operations, Finance, People and Marketing to deliver a seamless and consistent retail experience across the region.

  • Using data to drive decisions, translating insights into clear action plans that improve traffic, conversion, productivity, inventory health and guest satisfaction.

  • Creating an environment where people thrive, fostering inclusion, psychological safety and a high‑performance culture that enables every teammate to do their best work.

  • Representing Arc’teryx externally, building relationships with retail partners and local outdoor communities to strengthen the brand’s presence across the region.

  • Leading through change, confidently navigating new store openings, evolving business priorities and organisational change while keeping teams engaged and focused.

Qualifications



  • Recruiting and developing a talent pipeline to ensure your team can grow with the business, and that team members have a path for personal development.

  • Working with other Regional Managers to discover new business opportunities, identify new ways of working, and scale best practices developed with an entrepreneurial approach.

  • Partnering with your teams to develop a deep understanding of your region, in order to support efforts around brand expansion.

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving best‑in‑class retail operations.

  • Experience in retail operations, district management for owned retail and understanding the needs of retail requirements for success.

  • Excellent people leader, capable of motivating and engaging a group of people to drive collaboration and common goals in your area.

  • Passion for the guest journey and delivering an exceptional experience for guests.

  • Strong communicator in both written and verbal communication and can formulate and articulate strategies and concepts in both German and English.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable dealing with diverse personalities.

  • Strong advisor with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at a global level.

  • Excellent organizational skills, analytical ability and a track record of strategic planning.

  • Proficient in Power BI, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Excellent decision‑making skills and proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.

  • Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.

  • Balances autonomy and collaboration effectively.

  • Seeks the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with unwavering commitment.

  • Passion for work paralleled by passion for getting outside and living it.

  • Willing and available to travel, and able to work weekends or holidays, occasionally, depending on the needs of the business.
