We are seeking a dedicated, brilliant, and flexible Android developer to join our Antsglobe Family who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. The primary responsibility of the Android developer will be creating Android apps from scratch as part of a team while following all coding guidelines and industry best practices.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Unit‑test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Monitoring app reviews to detect areas for improvement.
• Creating app updates, including bug fixes and additional features, for release.
• Fixing known bugs in existing Android applications and adding new features.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications :

• Android Development: Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and development tools; familiar with Android architecture components like LiveData, ViewModel, and Room.
• API Integration: Integrating RESTful APIs, libraries like Retrofit or Volley for network operations.
• Database Management: SQLite and Room for local data storage, management & schema design.
• Version Control: Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for source code management.
• Testing: Experience with JUnit, Espresso, or Robolectric for unit and UI testing, with the ability to write and maintain automated tests to ensure app quality.
• Performance Optimization: Skilled in optimizing app performance, memory & resource efficiency.
• Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers.
• Knowledge of Android Libraries: Knowledge of Android libraries like Dagger/Hilt, Glide/Picasso, and Firebase for efficient app development.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience with CI/CD tools and practices to automate the build, testing, and deployment processes.
