Remote Emergency Radiologist with Flexible Scheduling | Licensed in Connecticut

Position Summary

Jefferson Radiology is actively recruiting a Daytime Emergency Radiologist in Connecticut to support our growing practice. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interpreting studies in emergency settings, including Level I trauma center studies in an urban setting. Acute inpatient studies are an important part of the total position responsibilities.

Schedule & Opportunities

  • Day Shift: Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm EST & weekend commitments
  • Swing Shift: Monday‑Friday, with flexible hours & weekend commitments
  • 7‑on / 7‑off
• Onsite option available
• Fellowship training in Body, MSK, Neuro or ER a plus
• Coverage of Emergency Department, inpatient, and STAT examinations
• Coverage of non‑emergent ambulatory general radiology and ambulatory radiology as applicable to swing‑shift volume
• No mammography, interventional radiology, or nuclear medicine
• Leadership development opportunities; the mature 24/7 on‑site Emergency Radiology program is ready to expand
• Subspecialized support for complex or unfamiliar cases

Local Practice Overview

Jefferson Radiology is a 90‑plus physician sub‑specialty group based in Connecticut with 400‑plus non‑physician staff across multiple imaging centers, community hospitals, and tertiary‑academic centers.

Desired Professional Skills and Experience

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Board Eligible or Certified, American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR)
• Residency‑trained, ACGME‑accredited radiology program
• Fellowship‑trained, Body Imaging preferred
• Ready to obtain licenses in Connecticut and Massachusetts; fellows welcome to apply

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $400,000‑$650,000, varying by education, experience, certifications, and location. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and a comprehensive total rewards package, including health & wellness coverage options and 401(k) benefits.
