Joining our practice as a StaffPsychiatrist offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, growth‑oriented community with the potential to advance into supervisory and leadership roles.Job DetailsWork Location: Remote (hybrid available upon request; we have an office near Bryant Park in New York City)Application Window: Until August2026 (position to be filled by08/30/2026)Anticipated Start Date: Fall2026 or Winter2027# of Openings:2ResponsibilitiesProvide services to a diverse demographic of patients, with an average caseload of 50 patients per week (8‑12 per day), adapted to clinical judgment and patient needsDeliver evidence‑based psychotherapy and medication managementDevelop personalized treatment plans for diverse patients (≈50 per week)Provide care via a telehealth platformOffer guidance to peers and supervisors, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetingsExemplify RiviaMind’s values and collaborative approachQualifications, Skills & AttributesDoctorate: Doctor of Medicine from an accredited school; completed a psychiatry residency with diverse rotations, including primary care (neurology, internal medicine, OB‑GYN considered a plus)Active, unrestricted medical license and DEA number in at least one of the following states: NewYork, NewJersey, Connecticut, Florida, MassachusettsBoard‑Eligible or Board‑Certified in psychiatryInterest in growing into a supervisory/leadership role within the practiceProven experience and desire to support psychotherapy treatment, with modality experience in CBT, DBT, and preferably psychodynamicExperience working in an outpatient setting and with telehealth/telemedicinePrescribing medications, confidently and efficiently documenting and managing patient sessionsExcellent clinical knowledge, communication skills, and ability to educate patientsProficient use of diverse technology platforms to support care delivery and documentation
