Your responsibilities Research associates will be expected primarily to teach and conduct research. The research associate will also have the opportunity to pursue further academic qualifications, in particular a doctoral dissertation. At least one-third of set working hours will be made available for the research associate7s own academic work. Research associates will be expected to teach (2.25 LVS) and conduct research within an international and interdisciplinary team led by Prof. Dr. Eva van der Zee LL.M. The position is embedded in a broader research agenda in international and European law, with a particular focus on sustainable development and climate change, integrating perspectives from behavioural sciences (such as behavioural law and economics, sociology, political science, and psychology). Teaching responsibilities cover International and European Law, and/or Law and Economics. In addition, the position involves substantive and organizational support for projects in these areas.
