Research Engineer (f/m/d) AIRBUS

• Conduct R&T activities on thermoplastic materials, processing technologies and structural applications for aerospace
• Design, execute and analyze experimental campaigns to characterize material properties, evaluate manufacturing processes and assess structural performance
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners such as universities and suppliers on R&T projects
• Monitor advances in thermoplastic materials and processing technologies, identify innovation opportunities and support the transition of developed technologies from research into industrial application
• Prepare technical reports and presentations documenting R&T results and recommendations, and contribute to intellectual property development through patents and technical disclosures

• Completed studies in the field of Engineering, Technics or Composites
• Work experience in the field of Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Thermoplastic Materials and Material Testing
• Good knowledge in using Google Workspace
• Fluent in English and German
• Willingness to travel
