Research Fellow (m/f/d) in the field of bioinorganic chemistry with expected 66.67% part‑time employment – E 13 TV‑L HU (third‑party funding limited until , extension maybe possible)

Responsibilities

• Scientific service in research in the field of bioorganic chemistry: chemical synthesis of post‑translationally modified peptides from RNA polymerase II
• Development of fragment linking methods
• Development of bioassays for determining structure‑activity relationships
• Opportunity for personal scientific qualification (doctorate)

Requirements

• Completed scientific university degree in (bio)organic chemistry (preferably with very good grades)
• Theoretical and practical experience in peptide chemistry and/or carbohydrate chemistry desired
• Practical experience in bioassays advantageous
• Very good command of written and spoken English (at least C1)
• Aptitude for and openness to interdisciplinary teamwork
