Research Scientist in the Customer Support Center (f/m/x)

Your Role:

• Record and independently process customer inquiries regarding lithography products used at customer sites
• Perform simulations, analytical calculations and field data analysis and derive technical solution proposals from them
• Manage and coordinate internal escalations relating to customer issues
• Prepare and deliver technical customer presentations
• Coordinate and implement the setup, maintenance, and expansion of internal processes and data and software structures
• Support, test, and implement the introduction of new service processes in close collaboration with R&D

Your Profile:

• A university degree in physics or a related natural science or technical field, ideally with a PhD
• Experience in the development or engineering of lithography systems
• Solid programming skills and experience in scientific computing
• Knowledge of databases and experience in statistical data analysis
• Strong assertiveness and genuine interest in engaging with customers
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, suitable for negotiations
