Tasks

• Lead and organize the QC department at Kirchberg based on guidelines.
• Approve testing plans and specifications for raw materials and products.
• Evaluate and certify analysis results for bulk and finished products.

Skills

• Degree in natural sciences or relevant QC experience required.
• At least 3 years in a regulatory GMP environment needed.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical and food regulations essential.

Area of responsibility

Organisation, disciplinary and professional leadership of the QC department at the Kirchberg site based on current guidelines

Approval of test plans (raw materials, bulk and finished products), as well as specifications (raw materials)

Making the decision on the use of raw materials, as well as assessment and certification of analysis results (CoA) for bulk and finished products

Co-responsibility for OOS documentation and assessment of OOS

Participation in group committees (cQC), customer and project meetings

Selection and qualification of external analytical service providers

Your profile

Scientific degree (university, university of applied sciences) or relevant professional experience in quality control

At least 3 years of experience in the regulatory GMP environment, or 5 years of experience in testing in the food and/or pharmaceutical environment

Knowledge of modern methods for analytical testing and testing of raw materials and finished products

Leadership experience

Knowledge of pharmaceutical and food regulations

Experience with regulatory authorities (e.g. FDA, Swissmedic)

SAP knowledge (QM module) and very good German as well as good English skills
