Restructuring – Associate & Engagement Manager (m/w/d) – Germany

What You Will Do

As an Associate, you will break down complex problems into discrete tasks, identify key aspects, direct junior consultants, plan and execute analysis, identify core issues in complex analyses, and craft suitable recommendations.

As an Engagement Manager, you will lead the project team day to day, ensure an efficient problem‑solving process, converge on a solution, ensure recommendations are correct, practical, and relevant, and build strong client relationships.

What You Will Bring

• Minimum 3‑8 years of relevant experience, preferably with a top‑tier strategy consulting firm.
• In‑depth sector knowledge gained through industry experience or other consultancy houses.
• Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in formal and informal settings.
• Fluency in English and German (required).
• An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to take initiative, seek opportunities to learn new skills, and apply existing ones.
• Creativity to generate novel ideas to solve our clients’ biggest problems.
• Aptitude for analytical work such as identifying clues in massive data sets or hunting down key issues in complex challenges.
• Willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with a talented team.
