Risk Analytics Lead (m/f/d)

In this role you lead a global Risk Analytics team to shape risk strategy and execution in a fast-growing payments-focused FinTech. You leverage data-driven insights to assess solvency and fraud indicators, partnering with cross-functional teams to steer pricing and risk policies. You’ll drive ML-enabled analytics and continuous improvement of data analyses and processes, enabling informed, risk-based decisioning at scale. This is a strategic, hands-on role in an international, technology-driven environment that values collaboration and impact.

• Lead a high-performing, international risk analytics team
• Apply industry-standard analytics tools and data-driven decision-making to fraud/solvency risk problems and support product expansion
• Drive continuous improvement of data analyses, processes, and reporting; set best practices for ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses
• Provide risk insights for pricing requests; collaborate with stakeholders on analytical requirements
• Lead cross-functional Risk Data Science initiatives; enable ML-based models for risk decisioning
• Represent the Risk Analytics team in key projects with risk steering analytics and implementation
• Collaborate closely with Risk Product, Risk Steering, Data Science, Pricing, Financial Controlling, Sales and Operations

• Proven track record in data analytics and credit risk management, ideally in Bank/BNPL/fast-growing payments
• Minimum 3 years of leading cross-border teams in credit risk analytics in international, agile environments
• Experience enabling machine learning-based models and advanced analytics for risk assessment and decisioning
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for complex analytical tasks
• Willingness to embrace new technology and leverage data for analytics
• Strategic thinker with strong execution ability
• English required; German or Dutch a plus
