RWE Senior Expert - Special Patient Populations

In this role you design and lead global real-world evidence programs to inform research, development, and regulatory decisions. You drive evidence-generation for special patient populations and collaborate across functions to shape an overarching RWE strategy for priority assets. You translate complex findings into actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and payers. You will work with partners to advance innovative data approaches and leverage new data sources. This is a hybrid, globally scoped role with meaningful patient impact.

• Design and execute global real-world evidence studies to support development, regulatory, medical, market access, and business decisions
• Develop evidence-generation strategies for special populations (pregnant, pediatric, older adults)
• Deliver complex observational studies using real-world and prospective data, ensuring rigor and timeliness
• Identify evidence needs across disease burden, outcomes, safety, and patient care pathways with cross-functional teams
• Translate findings into actionable insights for internal and external audiences, including regulators
• Collaborate with external experts and data providers to advance innovative evidence-generation approaches
• Shape long-term evidence strategies for priority assets and disease areas, exploring AI/ML opportunities
• Serve as a trusted scientific advisor, promoting robust methodologies and evidence-based decisions

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Public Health, or related field
• At least 6 years of experience designing, leading, and delivering RWE studies in pharma, biotech, consulting, or academia
• Experience using primary and secondary healthcare data to inform decisions
• Strong expertise in epidemiology, outcomes research, observational study design, and quantitative methods
• Experience working across global or regional cross-functional teams and managing complex research initiatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
