RWE Strategy Lead, Developed Brands (GER)

In this role, you develop and lead global real-world evidence (RWE) strategies to demonstrate value, safety, and patient impact of UCB therapies. You collaborate across a broad network to shape evidence programs for regulatory, market access, and payer decisions, driving patient access and outcome insights. You’ll leverage innovative study designs, registries, and AI-enabled approaches to close evidence gaps. You’ll mentor RWE talent and represent UCB with external partners to advance evidence-driven decisions.

• Develop and co-lead integrated RWE, epidemiology, outcomes research, and data strategies across the product lifecycle
• Identify evidence gaps and define research plans addressing regulatory, market access, reimbursement, safety, and patient-centered needs
• Shape evidence-generation strategies using real-world data, registries, external control arms, and innovative study designs
• Translate evolving scientific, regulatory, and business challenges into actionable evidence solutions and investments
• Oversee RWE study execution ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards
• Drive alignment across complex evidence-generation activities among multiple stakeholders
• Provide strategic guidance on disease burden, natural history, comparative effectiveness, and HTA requirements
• Leverage AI-enabled technologies to enhance data strategy and decision-making
• Mentor and develop RWE talent to grow organizational capabilities
• Represent UCB externally with scientific experts and industry initiatives to advance RWE

• Master's degree, PhD, MD, or equivalent advanced degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, HEOR, Biostatistics, Life Sciences, or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare/academic sectors with evidence generation and related initiatives
• Strong understanding of RWE, epidemiology, outcomes research, and healthcare data sources
• Experience developing evidence strategies supporting regulatory, reimbursement, clinical, and business decisions
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives and influence stakeholders in a matrix environment
• Big Data and AI experience is an advantage
