Overview

As Safety Expert in Huawei's Automotive Engineering Lab in Munich, you drive safety analyses for advanced vehicle control systems. You will translate analysis results into concrete safety requirements and concepts, collaborating with simulation and control engineers to address behavioral and architectural limits. Your work shapes safety concepts across E/E architectures and human factors, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Verantwortungsbereiche

Perform safety analysis of complex vehicle control systems, covering dynamics, E/E architecture, and human factors
Conduct qualitative and quantitative FTA, FMEA, DFA, and STPA on automotive systems
Derive safety requirements and mechanisms aligned with stakeholders
Design functional and technical safety concepts to mitigate behavior and architectural gaps
Review safety work products and suggest design improvements
Collaborate with simulation and vehicle control engineers to understand system behavior and safety challenges

Zentrale Anforderungen

MSc (and PhD considered) in Computer Science, Control Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent automotive safety engineering experience
6+ years of practical FuSa/SOTIF experience, including ISO26262, ISO21448, HARA, FTA, FMEA, DFA, STPA
Familiar with UN/ECE safety regulations and vehicle control architectures
Proficient in Matlab, Python or similar for numerical simulations
X-by-wire control systems experience is a plus
Hands-on attitude, team-oriented, high-performance mindset
English proficiency; German and/or Chinese is an advantage
