OutSmart is a leading provider of asset management and operational services in the renewable energy sector. With many years of hands‑on experience, we support investors, owners, and industrial clients in optimizing the performance and lifetime of their assets.
Since 2008, we have been contributing to the energy transition across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom. As we expand our activities into Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), we are growing our team to support this development.
Your role
In this role, you will support the development and delivery of technical and commercial solutions for wind energy operations and BESS. You will work closely with experienced colleagues across engineering, operations, and sales, gaining hands‑on experience in renewable energy services.
This position is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build technical and industry knowledge while contributing to real projects.
Responsibilities
Technical & Commercial Support
- Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for operational services
- Support the analysis of customer requirements and help translate them into structured solutions
- Contribute to the development of service concepts for wind energy and BESS
Customer & Project Support
- Participate in customer meetings and help prepare presentations and documentation
- Support communication between customers and internal technical teams
- Help maintain and update customer and project information
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, control center, and asset management teams
- Support the preparation of internal documentation, reports, and presentations
- Assist in coordinating inputs from different departments
Market & Research Support
- Conduct basic market and technology research in wind energy and BESS
- Help identify trends and collect relevant information for the team
- Support preparation for trade fairs, events, and customer visits.
Your profile
- Degree in engineering or a related field (or close to completion)
- Interest in renewable energy, especially wind energy and/or battery storage
- First experience (internships, working student roles, or projects) in a technical or commercial environment is a plus
- Strong willingness to learn and develop in a multidisciplinary role
- Structured and reliable way of working
- Good communication skills and team‑oriented mindset
- Fluent in English and German
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Structured, self‑driven, and results‑oriented working style.
