Sales Director, European Power Distribution

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our power distribution business development and sales operations across the European market. This role will be based in Germany or Spain (resident on-site). If you have solid senior-level sales experience in the low/medium-voltage power distribution industry (MV/LV switchgear and power transformers) and a proven European client network, we welcome you to join our global expansion journey!

Job Responsibilities

• European Market Strategy & Expansion Develop and execute long-term market penetration strategies for European regions, covering mainstream EU countries. Analyze local power grid standards, industry policies, market demands and competitor layouts to formulate targeted regional development roadmaps, driving steady business growth and market share expansion for our MV/LV switchgear and power transformer products.
• Team Leadership & Sales Target Delivery Lead and manage the European sales team, oversee overall regional sales performance, and ensure the achievement of annual sales revenue, profit and cash collection targets. Standardize regional sales management processes, motivate team performance, and build a high-efficiency local sales system for power distribution products including switchgear and power transformers.
• Key Client Development & Relationship Management Independently develop core European clients including power utilities, EPC contractors, system integrators and local distributors. Establish deep, stable and long-term strategic cooperative relationships, maintain high-quality customer resources, and continuously expand high-value order opportunities for MV/LV switchgear and power transformers.
• Project Operation & Cross-department Collaboration Take charge of full-cycle management of key projects for switchgear and power transformers, including business negotiation, technical docking, quotation review, contract signing, order delivery and after-sales support. Efficiently coordinate internal R&D, production, supply chain and technical teams to ensure project smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Market Insight & Brand Localization Continuously track European power distribution industry trends, technical iterations and market changes related to switchgear and power transformers, regularly output professional market analysis and strategy reports. Promote brand localization operation and industry exposure in the European market.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering, Power System, International Trade or Marketing is preferred.

Minimum 5–8 years of senior sales experience in low/medium voltage power distribution industry (MV/LV switchgear and power transformers), with mature European market development experience and stable local client resources.

Fluent in English for full business work, proficient in international business negotiation, large project docking and formal cross-cultural communication.

Possess outstanding strategic thinking, team management ability, business negotiation capability and market judgment; with proven successful cases of European regional market expansion and sales team management for power distribution equipment.

Familiar with European power grid standards, local business customs and industry rules; willing to be permanently based in Germany or Spain , able to adapt to long-term European business travel and local work requirements.

Strong stress resistance, cross-cultural adaptability and comprehensive business operation capabilities.
