We are searching for an experienced Sales Engineer - Print & Packaging to join our global workforce.

Position Summary:

The Sales Engineer - P&P will be responsible of sales and market development for color management solutions in printing, packaging & ink market segments. The candidate will report directly to Business Development Manager (BDM) Print & Packaging EMA.

Responsibilities:

• Define a Market segmentation for the territory with support of BDM
• Work directly with Large printing organizations, Ink Manufacturers and Brands
• Drive business for local printers through local distributors
• Achieve maximum sales volume consistent with sales targets.
• Generate sales leads for enhancing market share through routine and focusing sales activities.
• Plan and carry out sales calls and demonstrations to promote and sell products.
• Provide backup support in marketing & sales through thorough understanding of individual market situation, potentials, and requirements.
• Keep the management informed on matters of specific business interest such as market conditions, competitive situations, product needs, etc.
• Work closely and efficiently with other departments, including Technical Support, Marketing and Administration, for striving to success of Datacolor.
• Implement other sales or non-sales activities assigned by superior or management.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Holder of Diploma or Degree in industrial engineering, science or printing technology related disciplines.
• Five years of relevant experience in sales & marketing, related to printing & packaging industry. Experience in color management systems will be a plus.
• Excellent communication skill in spoken & written German & English.

Excellent interpersonal skills; and a good team worker.

Location:

This role is based in Germany and is a hybrid role in line with current company policy. Frequent travelling within the territory or to other countries if necessary for business purposes.
