As Sales Manager Metal Powder Additive Manufacturing, you will contribute to the growth of both our marketplace business and the direct sales of qualloy’s own metal powder products, with a primary focus on new customer acquisition and business generation in metal additive manufacturing.

Tasks

As Sales Manager Metal Powder Additive Manufacturing, you will be responsible for developing and growing our European customer business across both pillars of qualloy: our B2B marketplace for third-party metal powder products and the direct sale of our own metal powder portfolio.

Your primary market focus will be metal additive manufacturing. You will work closely with customers using metal powders to produce industrial components and help them identify suitable materials and sourcing solutions for their applications.

You will acquire new customers, develop existing accounts and build a sustainable and profitable sales pipeline. While your primary regional focus will be Europe, you will also support the development of the global sales and distribution network for qualloy’s own products.

Your initial tasks will include:

• Analyse the metal powder market to determine the best sales and market opportunities


• Analysing customer needs and generate new opportunities and handle all aspects of the sales process


• Business development: generally responsible for acquiring new customers as well as building long term business relationships


• Grow your network; research prospective clients using web and social media, internal databases, and external tools to identify leads


• Representing us at key industry events, conferences, and exhibitions

Requirements

• Sales / Business development experience: Strong knowledge of sales techniques, processes and customer behaviour that can deliver successful results.


• Understanding the Industry: Understanding the metal powder market, industry and competition to make informed decisions and develop successful strategies.


• Large network in the field of metal powder or additive manufacturing


• Interest and passion of industrial manufacturing utilising Additive Manufacturing or Powder Metallurgy


• A background from the metal industry or metal powder sector with experience of Additive Manufacturing is highly advantageous.


• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers.


• High degree of independent work.


• On-site customer meetings in Europe + frequent traveling


• Master’s degree in engineering, business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
