Sales Representative (m/f/d), Texture and Healthful Solutions, Germany

Position Details

Employment type: Parental leave replacement for 18 months. Location: Hamburg, Germany. Workplace type: Hybrid. Reports to: Manager Sales, Central and Eastern Europe. Direct reports: None.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer projects – identify growth opportunities and initiate projects to meet target metrics.
• Ensure customer project briefs are received and validated in line with company requirements.
• Develop and broaden customer relationships, building stakeholder networks and creating a positive experience across seniority levels.
• Represent Ingredion as the point of contact for technical support, collaborating with the Technical Service team to bring new ideas and accelerate sales of recently launched products.
• Create and execute account plans to grow sales share, ensuring plans are well communicated with internal and external stakeholders.
• Implement competitive pricing and lead annual contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Manage internal stakeholder relationships across relevant functions (Technical Service, Marketing, Customer Services, Supply Chain, Finance) to support project development, supply planning, and debtor management.
• Continuously adopt sales excellence standards and pursue learning opportunities to stay current with new developments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the food industry, preferably Dairy and Savoury categories, with a strong track record of driving sales and business growth.
• Strategic account management skills, including pricing, contract management, and relationship building.
• Passion for innovation and technical collaboration, with a history of accelerating sales of innovative products.
• Degree-qualified with strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
• Expertise in German savoury/dairy categories and food process/formulation knowledge.

Travel Requirements
