SAP Basis Inhouse Consultant

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and further development of the SAP Basis system landscape
• Responsible for planning and implementing projects, including future work in the S/4HANA environment
• Responsible for version management as well as various databases and operating systems, including release changes and upgrades
• Defining role concepts and assigning authorizations, as well as handling support activities
• Responsibility for SAP application operations, including monitoring, incident resolution, backups, and archiving

Requirements

• University degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in SAP Basis administration
• Good knowledge of SAP ABAP, SAP Java, and the SAP HANA database
• Basic experience with Linux environments, as well as with SAP S/4HANA
• Knowledge of IBM Power is desirable
