SAP Data Management Techno-functional Consultant (f/m/d)

In this role you will lead data management across SAP landscapes, focusing on data migration, quality, and consistency during M&A, upgrades, and consolidations. You will design and execute ETL processes with BODS and provide functional SAP SD/MM/PP guidance to ensure accurate data alignment. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll drive data quality initiatives and validate data integrity to support business processes and analytics. This is a hands-on role at the Hitachi Energy SAP CoE with a clear impact on data readiness and system reliability.

• Develop and execute data migration strategies (mapping, cleansing, validation)
• Design and implement ETL processes using SAP BODS
• Optimize BODS jobs for performance and reliability
• Provide functional expertise in SAP SD, MM, and PP modules for data alignment
• Drive data quality improvement initiatives and analytics support
• Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document outcomes

• 8+ years of SAP data migration experience
• Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS)
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD, MM, and PP modules
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (preferred)
• Bachelor in Computer Science, IT, or related field
