SAP EWM Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP EWM Architect with strong German language proficiency to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a solution architect and subject matter expert, driving end-to-end warehouse transformation programs and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture design for SAP EWM solutions (Embedded / Decentralized)
• Engage with business stakeholders to translate warehouse and logistics requirements into scalable SAP solutions
• Drive greenfield, brownfield, and S/4HANA transformation programs
• Architect and implement integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, TM, QM) and third-party systems
• Define and enforce best practices, standards, and governance for EWM implementations
• Lead fit-gap analysis, solution blueprinting, and technical design workshops
• Warehouse structure (storage types, bins, work centers)
• RF framework, Fiori apps, and automation integration (MFS, robotics)
• Oversee data migration, testing strategy, and cutover planning
• Support pre-sales, solution estimations, and proposal development
• Mentor consultants and lead offshore/onshore delivery teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP experience, with deep expertise in SAP EWM
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect / Lead Consultant
• Strong experience in:
• Embedded and Decentralised EWM
• S/4HANA implementations and migrations
• Warehouse automation and integration scenarios
• Solid understanding of supply chain and logistics processes
• Hands-on experience in configuration and solution designExposure to RF, MFS, and SAP Fiori applications
• Experience with integration technologies (IDocs, APIs, middleware like CPI/PI)

Language Requirements

• Fluent German (C1/C2 level) – mandatory for client interaction

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certifications in EWM and/or S/4HANA
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, or logistics industries
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strategic thinking with architecture mindset
• Ability to lead complex, multi-country implementations
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
