As SAP S/4HANA Expert, you enable the digital transformation of the Transformers (TR) and Switchgear (SG) business units within Grid Technologies by providing critical expertise for successful S/4HANA rollouts and sustainable process improvements. This role strengthens internal capabilities by bringing essential knowledge in-house and ensuring long‑term support, process stability, and continuous optimization of project execution processes across global manufacturing environments. Acting as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders, you translate operational requirements into scalable solutions and ensure effective alignment between business processes, technology, and user needs. With your deep expertise in Project System (PS) and Engineer‑to‑Order (ETO) business models, you drive process excellence, system adoption, and the continuous improvement of digital project execution capabilities. As a senior professional, you independently manage complex initiatives, provide guidance to junior team members, and collaborate closely with business and IT teams to deliver sustainable solutions.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Enablement of digital transformation initiatives across Transformers (TR) and Switchgear (SG) through expert knowledge in project execution processes and supporting enterprise systems
• Design, configuration, customization, and implementation of solutions supporting Project System (PS) and Engineer‑to‑Order (ETO) business processes
• Translation of complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications aligned with strategic business objectives
• Provision of expert process consulting for global manufacturing plants and ownership as central point of contact for project execution processes within the Grid Technologies Products Execution Unit
• Enablement of effective system adoption through stakeholder collaboration, user training, support sessions, and knowledge transfer activities
• Improvement of system stability, operational efficiency, and process performance through proactive support, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous optimization

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience as an SAP Consultant, SAP Functional Expert, or comparable senior professional role with strong focus on enterprise systems and business process optimization
• Deep functional expertise in Project System (PS) and proven experience with Engineer‑to‑Order (ETO) business models
• Strong capabilities in solution design, system configuration, process architecture, requirement management, and process improvement
• Experience independently managing complex initiatives including integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshooting, quality assurance, and documentation activities
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, stakeholder management, and communication capabilities combined with experience in agile methodologies, workflow management, continuous improvement, and guidance of junior team members
• Excellent English language skills with German or other languages a plus
