SAP FICO Consultant (Inhouse Consultant)

Location: Norderstedt, Hamburg (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week)

An established international manufacturer within the pharmaceutical hygiene industry is looking for an experienced SAP Inhouse Consultant FI/CO to join its growing IT team. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key internal SAP expert and play a central role in a global SAP S/4HANA transformation .

The company is in an exciting growth phase, investing heavily in digital transformation, international expansion, and SAP. You'll join a collaborative in-house SAP team where you'll have real influence over business processes and long-term SAP strategy.

The Role

As an SAP FI/CO Inhouse Consultant, you'll act as the primary contact for the Finance business area, supporting both daily operations and strategic transformation initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• SAP FI/CO support and incident management
• Customizing and process optimisation
• Implementing change requests
• Working closely with Finance stakeholders to improve business processes
• Supporting the global SAP S/4HANA rollout
• Implementing new SAP solutions and add-ons
• Supporting international rollout and consolidation projects
• Working across topics including FI, CO, bank integrations, invoice processing, forms, authorisations, and process improvements

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a hands‑on SAP professional who enjoys solving business challenges rather than working purely on concepts.

• Several years of SAP FI/CO consulting experience (approximately 7–10+ years)
• Experience as an SAP Inhouse Consultant or SAP Consultant
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with business stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience within a manufacturing or regulated production environment
• Broad SAP knowledge beyond a single specialist area
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA projects

• Purely conceptual consultants who don't perform technical implementation
• Specialists focused exclusively on one niche area (e.g. AP, AR or Consolidation)
