SAP IS-U Developer: in Market Communication, Focus on Switching Processes (m/f/d)

For our existing client in the energy sector, we are seeking an SAP IS-U Developer specializing in market communication, with a focus on switching processes (m/f/d), for a project-based permanent position or temporary employment starting November 1, 2026. Start date: November 1, 2026. End date: July 22, 2027. Workload: 38 hours/week. Location: Remote work is possible. On-site attendance is desirable for initial familiarization and onboarding. Occasional participation in on-site workshops is required. Willingness to travel is essential. You will develop and implement change requests in SAP IS-U for market communication and reliably implement regulatory and technical requirements in the context of change processes. You will analyze and resolve disruptions in master data, device, and supplier change processes and ensure the smooth operation of market communication. You will support the specialist departments in analyzing new requirements, create technical concepts, and oversee their implementation. You will conduct error analyses in complex process chains, identify root causes, and develop sustainable solutions for stabilization and quality assurance. You will automate and optimize business processes in the area of market communication, reduce manual effort, and increase process quality.

• Du verfügst über ein abgeschlossenes Studium der Wirtschaftsinformatik, Informatik, des Wirtschaftsingenieurwesens oder der Betriebswirtschaftslehre. Alternativ bringst Du eine Ausbildung zum Fachinformatiker (m/w/d) mit entsprechender Berufserfahrung mit
• Du hast Erfahrung in der Betreuung, Weiterentwicklung und Optimierung von SAP IS-U sowie in der Umsetzung von Incidents und Change Requests im Umfeld der Marktkommunikation
• Du verfügst über Kenntnisse der Marktkommunikationsprozesse deutscher Energieversorger, insbesondere in den Bereichen GPKE, Lieferantenwechsel, Einzug, Auszug und Stammdatenänderungen
• Du bringst praktische Erfahrung mit IS-U-Stammdaten, Versorgungsszenarien, Wechselprozessen sowie Datenaustauschprozessen auf Basis von UTILMD und anderen Marktkommunikationsformaten mit
• Du beherrschst die Entwicklung mit ABAP und ABAP Objects, kennst gängige Erweiterungstechnologien und setzt Debugging sicher zur Analyse und Fehlerbehebung ein
• Du verfügst über sehr gute Kenntnisse des SAP IS-U Stammdatenmodells, relevanter Customizing-Einstellungen sowie der Frameworks IDEX, Common Layer und BPEM
