Your Role

We are looking for an SAP PLM Functional Consultant to lead and execute an iPLM rollout to new warehouses/plants based on an existing global template. The role spans fit–gap, localization, configuration & integration, data migration, cutover, and hypercare, working closely with business SMEs, product owners, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Rollout & Template Governance

• Analyze fit–gap against the global PLM template; document localization needs, country-specific legal/quality requirements, and operational constraints.
• Drive template adoption while proposing controlled deviations backed by business case and impact analysis.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and release management for transport sequencing.

Build, Test & Cutover

• Conduct Fit‑Gap workshops and analyze local requirements.
• Prepare test scenarios, traceability, and lead SIT/UAT with defect triage; ensure performance and volume test readiness.
• Define cutover plan: master data loads, stock upload, open orders, bin creation, wave queues, mock runs with rehearsal checklists.
• Execute data migration for products, BOMs, Documents, Change Masters etc.
• Provide go‑live support & hyper‑care.

Operations & Support

• Create training content and conduct end‑user training & key‑user enablement.
• Drive continuous improvements post‑rollout; document lessons learned and backlog.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Business Processes for PP, MM etc.
• Conduct business analysis to improve PLM and innovation processes.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for SAP solutions.
• Design and optimize master data architecture, including Material, BOM, Document Information Record, and Serial Number etc.
• Ensure smooth integration of PLM and ERP systems.
• Lead the implementation, testing, and rollout of SAP‑based applications.
• Stay informed on SAP S/4 innovations and recommend best practices.
