SAP PP-MM Consultant

For a Swiss manufacturing client active globally and headquartered in the Central Switzerland area, due to organic growth, we are currently looking for a SAP PP/MM Consultant. Both Senior (5+ years of experience) and Professional level (2-5 years of experience) will be taken into consideration.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as the primary SAP consultant for Production Planning and Materials Management processes.
• Analyze existing manufacturing, procurement, warehousing, and supply chain processes to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Design, configure, and continuously improve SAP solutions within the PP and MM landscape, with exposure to warehouse management processes.
• Gather business requirements and develop scalable solution concepts aligned with operational and strategic objectives.
• Lead or actively contribute to SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and optimization projects.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, external partners, and internal IT teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and user guides.
• Deliver training sessions and provide ongoing support to key users across the organization.
• Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards while ensuring successful delivery.
• Develop reports, KPIs, and analytical insights to support operational excellence and management decision‑making.

Your Profile

• Completed education in Business Informatics, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable discipline.
• Several years of hands‑on SAP consulting experience in production and supply chain environments.
• Expertise in SAP PP and good knowledge of SAP MM including configuration and customization.
• Knowledge of warehouse management processes (WM, Stock Room Management or EWM) is considered an advantage.
• Solid understanding of end‑to‑end manufacturing and supply chain processes.
• Experience in business process analysis, requirements engineering, and SAP solution design.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA environments is highly desirable.
• Experience working in project environments using established project management methodologies.
• Fluent German (B2‑C1 at least) and good English communication skills.
