SAP Project Manager – (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for planning, steering and successful delivery of complex SAP projects and transformation programs.
• Leading interdisciplinary project teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
• Accountability for project objectives regarding quality, budget, resources and timelines.
• Managing SAP implementations, rollouts, migrations and S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Creating and monitoring project plans, milestones and risk management measures.
• Advising management and business units on strategic and organizational issues within the SAP environment.
• Ensuring efficient communication between business units, IT, service providers and management.
• Identifying and implementing optimization and digitization opportunities across business processes.
• Managing change management and organizational development activities within SAP projects.
• Responsible for escalation management and sustainable problem-solving for complex challenges.
• Supporting the selection, management and evaluation of external service providers and implementation partners.
• Ensuring compliance with governance, regulatory and quality standards.
• Conducting project reviews, management reporting and status presentations at management and board level.
• Promoting agile and traditional project management methods to continuously improve the project organization.
• Actively contributing to the company’s SAP and digitalization strategy.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience leading complex SAP projects, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA as well as relevant SAP modules and business processes.
• Experience planning and executing SAP transformations, rollouts, migrations or digitization projects.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA) is a plus.
• Knowledge of agile project management methods (Scrum, SAFe, agile frameworks) desirable.
• Experience in stakeholder, change and risk management.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.
• Additional foreign language skills are an advantage.
