Senior SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Management Consultant

Overview

An international SAP consulting organisation is seeking an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Management Consultant to support large-scale transformation programmes for clients in the manufacturing and process industries. The role focuses on designing and implementing end-to-end supply chain processes within the SAP S/4HANA landscape, helping organisations optimise planning, production, logistics, and integration across complex enterprise environments.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, and technical specialists to deliver scalable SAP solutions from process design through to implementation, testing, and go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the implementation of end-to-end supply chain processes within SAP S/4HANA.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into integrated SAP supply chain solution designs.
• Design cross-functional and customer-specific architectures aligned with operational and technical objectives.
• Lead functional workstreams, modules, or sub-projects within transformation and process optimisation programmes.
• Ensure integration across planning, production, logistics, and organisational processes within SAP SCM APO, SAP S/4 Supply Chain, and SAP S/4 Logistics.
• Support testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, planning, procurement, logistics, and IT.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective stakeholder engagement and delivery excellence.
• Contribute to internal best practices, knowledge sharing, and the development of innovative supply chain solutions.

About You

• Degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Several years of SAP consulting experience within supply chain and production transformation projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP IBP, SAP PP/DS, SAP PP, or related SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain solutions.
• Experience designing and implementing integrated supply chain and production planning processes in manufacturing or process industry environments.
• Knowledge of Synchronized Planning with SAP IBP, embedded PP/DS, and broader S/4HANA integration scenarios is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded with a strong customer-oriented approach.
• Fluent German and English language skills are required.
• Willingness to travel during project phases, approximately 60%.
