SAP Senior Procurement Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Consultant to join our growing team in Germany. The ideal candidate will bring strong Procurement expertise, proven experience in Procurement-related IT projects, and the ability to engage confidently with CPOs and senior stakeholders. This role will play a key part in pre-sales activities, solution design, project delivery, and the continued growth of our strategic partnership with Coupa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted interlocutor with the CPO and Procurement teams of prospective clients, providing functional credibility from the very first contact.
• Actively participate in pre-sales activities, including assessments, workshops, value propositions, and support in the development of commercial proposals.
• Provide expert knowledge of Procurement processes (source-to-pay, supplier management, indirect/direct procurement, contract management, etc.) to design client‑specific solutions.
• Collaborate on Procurement‑related IT implementation projects, working closely with functional and technical teams.
• Act as a bridge between the local team in Germany and international teams supporting proposals and delivery.
• Contribute to strengthening the strategic relationship with Coupa as a partner, participating in joint go‑to‑market activities where appropriate.
• Native‑level German and fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Strong experience as a senior Procurement consultant, with a solid understanding of Procurement processes and the CPO role.
• Proven experience in Procurement‑related IT projects, including implementation, transformation, or functional consulting.
• Pre‑sales skills, with the ability to structure value propositions and participate in the sales cycle alongside sales teams.
• Experience working in international and multicultural teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives at CPO/C‑level.

Nice to Have (Not Required):

• Previous knowledge of Coupa or SAP Ariba.
• Previous experience working with or for the German Mittelstand.
• Knowledge of other Procurement or supplier risk management solutions.
