SAP Supply Chain Team Lead

Role Overview

Responsible for leading a global team of SAP Functional Consultants and overseeing the successful delivery of SAP implementation and transformation projects. This role combines people leadership, SAP functional expertise, and delivery governance to ensure high-quality project execution, strong customer outcomes, and operational excellence across multiple engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a globally distributed team of SAP Functional Consultants.
• Oversee the functional delivery of SAP implementation projects, ensuring clear scope, effective planning, and successful execution.
• Act as the primary escalation point for delivery risks, project challenges, and customer-impacting issues.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Project Management, Product, Technical, Data, Customer Success, and Support to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality SAP functional services, including requirements gathering, business process design, solution configuration, testing, user training, and go-live readiness.
• Drive resource planning, utilisation management, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise delivery performance.
• Establish and maintain delivery governance, implementation standards, methodologies, templates, and best practices to support scalable and consistent project delivery.

Skills and Experience

• Strong SAP functional consulting expertise with experience delivering enterprise-wide SAP solutions.
• Proven track record of leading customer-facing SAP implementation and consulting teams.
• Experience managing global or geographically distributed teams.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Customer-focused, analytical, and data-driven approach to delivery and continuous improvement.
