School Social Worker - Joliet, IL

Key Qualifications:

• Current Illinois School Social Worker (IL SSW) license required
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with school-based counseling, case management, and behavioral support
• Able to effectively manage a caseload and multitask as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social work services and counseling to students across grades K-12
• Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with educational teams
• Conduct assessments, maintain case notes, and support ongoing student progress
• Consult with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student needs
• Participate in occasional car line duties as part of the school community
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate
