Responsibilities

• Strengthening our product-focused research and innovation team.
• Responsible for planning, organizing and performing research projects.
• Creation of early phase concepts and their practical implementation.
• Processes project inquiries during initial contacts with customers.
• Assists in analyzing and interpreting possible future technology and market trends.
• Works in cross-functional interdisciplinary resource teams from other functional areas and supports ongoing projects.
• Maintains documentation in accordance with customer requirements and notified body requirements.
• Ensure that tasks in his area of responsibility are processed in a quality and timely manner.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, safety/ergonomics standards and good housekeeping practices.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed scientific or technical studies (master's degree or PhD).
• Several years of experience in development in the life sciences sector (preferably chemical, pharmaceutical or medical development).
• Product development experience (preferably coatings or drug delivery systems for medical applications).
• Scientific work / Design of experiments.
• Research and development planning as well as its implementation and documentation.
• Project management skills.
• Interdisciplinary work and understanding/knowledge of medical applications.
• In-depth knowledge of medical technology and Initial experience in business development.
• Communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive and pragmatic attitude aimed at tackling problems head-on and finding solutions.
• Commitment, initiative and willingness to perform.
• Basic knowledge of regulations and laws in the area of medical devices.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.
